While Faisal Darwiche and Manal Dawi officially launched Panacea Aesthetics in 2018, their history together as partners goes back much further. In fact, Faisal and Manal are childhood friends turned lifelong partners, both of which boast over 20 years of experience in the medical field, ranging from critical care, ER/Trauma, cardiovascular intensive care, as well as aesthetic and regenerative medicine.
Faisal and Manal immigrated to the United States from Lebanon in 2006. Together, they learned the language, the culture, and how to flourish against all odds. As medical professionals, Faisal and Manal found purpose and passion in helping patients feel their best – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Sal and Manal fused their expertise with their uncanny ability to make patients feel vibrant from the inside out. Today, Panacea Aesthetics has evolved into a full-service cosmetic medical practice.
Manal specializes in dermal fillers and injectables, using her artistic eye to enhance the feminine form, while Faisal has a passion for PDO Threads and liposuction with fat transfer procedures. The Orange County aesthetic center in Newport Beach has 5 treatment rooms, and Faisal and Manal are joined by an entire team at Panacea Aesthetics here to make sure you are fully informed, comfortable, and happy with your beauty journey.

Faisal is a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and holds degrees from both the American University of Beirut and Walden University. He has been a registered nurse and supervisor at some of the county’s most prestigious medical research institutions and care facilities, including Georgetown University Hospital, Houston’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center, Hoag hospital and UCLA here in Southern California. Although Faisal now specializes in cosmetic procedures, he has extensive expertise in cardiovascular care. While in Houston, he even founded Home Nurses on Wheels, a mobile nursing service that provided at-home care for postoperative heart transplant patients and patients with artificial heart devices.
Today, Faisal has left critical care for the wonders of the cosmetic and beauty world. He’s passionate about this arena and has extensive training and certification in several areas, including PDO Threads. In fact, he is so well respected in PDO Thread application that he regularly lectures at conferences and offers professional training in this area.
Manal is a Registered Nurse (RN), holding degrees from American University of Beirut and Al Makassed Higher Institute of Nursing. She also has more than 20 years of nursing experience in critical care at top American hospitals, including Georgetown University Hospital, Houston’s Methodist Hospital, and UCLA.
Before opening Panacea Aesthetics with Faisal in 2018, she spent several years working in cosmetic surgery clinics, building an expertise in multiple laser technologies, PRP injections and microneedling, as well as neurotoxic injections (BOTOX) and dermal fillers (Juvederm). Manal has extensive experience in cosmetic technology and aesthetic enhancement procedures.
